Historic vibes in Waterville 🌊
Lekker seafood, my room was clean and super comfy, and the location's close to the coast so easy for a stroll.
Room felt a bit small for the double and single beds crammed in there.

the check-in was a disaster with my reservation completely wrong, as if it didn’t even matter. breakfast was a nightmare too, with dirty plates everywhere and no one seemed to care! a complimentary gesture would’ve been nice, but i suppose that’s too much to ask for. almost wrote a good review, but just couldn’t.

The seafood dinner amazed me. Alan, the host, provided great recommendations and he even stored my bike securely. My room, while clean and comfy, felt a touch cramped with the furniture all squeezed in. Breakfast at the restaurant offered delicious options, but on the second morning, I saw some dirty plates left on tables. The shared bathroom arrangement could’ve been clearer since I encountered some confusion during my stay. Despite these hiccups, the welcoming atmosphere made me feel at home.

One of our friends had trouble with the door locks, and it added some stress. But overall, everything turned out fine.

We loved our time by Lough Currane, where the hills and valleys made for a great family walk. The host was welcoming, and they were accommodating with our son's autism support dog, making it easier for all of us to enjoy our stay.
My wife says that room arrangements could be clearer.
